Comparison

A Salesforce alternative for a business under two hundred people.

Salesforce is the most capable CRM platform there is, and capability is not free — it is paid for in licences, in configuration, and usually in a partner. Below a certain size that trade stops making sense.

  • GST engine in every plan
  • A database per customer
  • Cloud or on-premise
In short

SimplCRM is a Salesforce alternative aimed at Indian businesses of roughly five to two hundred people. It covers leads, pipeline, GST quotations, support cases, automation and reporting, is set up by the people who use it rather than an implementation partner, and includes the Indian tax engine in every plan.

Where SimplCRM differs from Salesforce

We do not list other vendors’ prices or feature ticks here. They change, and a table that is wrong about a competitor is worth nothing to you. Ask both vendors these questions and compare the answers you get.

What do you give up?

Platform depth. Salesforce can be extended into almost anything, has an enormous app ecosystem, and is the safe answer at enterprise scale. SimplCRM has none of that reach. If you need a custom object model with a development team behind it, buy the platform.

What do you stop paying for?

The configuration. A large share of what a mid-sized Indian business spends on an enterprise CRM goes on making it fit — the partner, the implementation, the change requests. SimplCRM is configured from its own screens by the people using it, which is only possible because it is aimed at a narrower problem.

Is the Indian tax handling really different?

It is built in rather than configured. Place-of-supply rules, one GSTIN per branch, HSN and SAC codes per line and exact decimal money are part of the product, in every plan. On a general platform the same result is achievable and is a configuration you own and maintain.

How long does a switch take?

A workspace is created in about a minute and populated from CSV in an afternoon. The honest constraint is not the import — it is agreeing internally what your stages mean, which is work you would do for any CRM and which most projects underestimate.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Is SimplCRM suitable for an enterprise?

Generally no. SimplCRM is built for businesses of roughly five to two hundred people. Above that, the platform depth, ecosystem and governance features of an enterprise CRM usually justify their cost, and we would rather say so than sell you something that fits badly.

Do I need an implementation partner for SimplCRM?

No. It is set up from its own screens by the people who will use it — products, branches, users and stages are ordinary configuration inside the application. There is no partner to engage and no change-request queue between you and a change.

Can SimplCRM integrate with the rest of our systems?

Yes, through a REST API with per-workspace keys and outbound webhooks that fire when records change. That covers the common cases — a website form creating a lead, an ERP reading orders, an accounts package receiving quotation data.

Run both trials side by side.

Raise the same inter-state quotation in each. The difference shows up in about ten minutes.
