For sales teams

A pipeline that tells you the truth.

Stages that carry their own checklists, deals that advance when the work is actually done, and a forecast you can take into a board meeting without apologising for it.

  • Per-stage checklists
  • Automatic stage moves
  • Exact money everywhere
In short

SimplCRM is a sales CRM in which each pipeline stage has its own screen and checklist, and deals advance automatically when the underlying work happens — sending a quotation moves a deal to Negotiation. Automation rules create tasks and alerts on record changes, and reporting is exact to the paisa, so the forecast and the quotations agree.

How a deal moves

Five stages, each with something it will not let you skip.

  1. Lead

It arrives from a website form, an email, an import or a salesperson typing it in. Duplicates are caught against the accounts you already have, so two people do not work the same company.

  2. Qualification

Budget, authority, need and timing recorded as fields rather than as a note somebody has to read. A deal that cannot answer them is not yet a deal.

  3. Proposal

A quotation is built with line items, HSN codes and correct GST, turned into a PDF and sent. The deal moves to Negotiation on its own the moment it goes out.

  4. Negotiation

Revisions are new versions rather than overwrites, so what you sent in March is still what you sent in March when it is disputed in July.

  5. Won or lost

A reason is captured either way. A lost-reason report a quarter later is the cheapest sales training a company will ever run.

The questions a sales manager asks

How do I stop the pipeline being wishful thinking?

Make advancement cost something. In SimplCRM a stage will not accept a deal that has not met its checklist, and the stages that can be inferred from real events — a quotation sent, a case closed — move on their own. What is left in Negotiation is there because something was sent, not because somebody was optimistic on a Friday.

Can a manager see across branches?

Yes, if you give them that. Visibility is per person: a branch manager sees their branch, a regional head sees several, a director sees everything. The boundary is enforced in reports and exports as well as on screen.

What does automation actually do here?

It removes the tasks people forget. When a deal is updated and its value is above ₹1,00,000, create a task and flag the forecast. When a case breaches its response clock, tell the manager. Rules are readable sentences and can be tested against real records before they are switched on.

Will the numbers match my accounts?

They will match each other exactly, which is the part software usually gets wrong. Money is stored and calculated as exact decimals, not floating-point, so the quotation, the report and the export agree to the paisa rather than drifting by a rupee across a thousand rows.

FAQ

Questions people ask

What is a sales CRM?

A sales CRM is software that tracks opportunities from first contact to a closed order. It holds the accounts and contacts you sell to, the deals in progress, the stage each has reached, the value and expected close date, and the history of what was said — so a forecast can be built from records rather than from memory.

How does SimplCRM keep a forecast honest?

By tying stages to evidence. Each stage has its own checklist, and a deal cannot advance without the thing that stage requires. Deals also move themselves — sending a quotation moves the deal to Negotiation — so the pipeline reflects what has actually happened rather than what somebody remembered to drag.

Can I automate follow-ups?

Yes. Automation rules run on record changes: when a deal is updated and its value is above a threshold, SimplCRM can create a task, notify a manager or flag the forecast. Rules are written in plain terms and can be tested before they go live.
